Beasiswa ini dapat digunakan untuk studi di dalam maupun luar negeri. Untuk studi di dalam negeri, penerima mendapatkan biaya pendidikan, biaya hidup, dan bantuan buku. Sementara untuk studi luar negeri, beasiswa mencakup biaya pendidikan dan biaya hidup.

Beasiswa Afirmasi Pendidikan Tinggi (AdiK) ditujukan bagi siswa dari wilayah Papua, daerah 3T (terdepan, terluar, tertinggal), ADEM, serta anak Pekerja Migran Indonesia. Program ini memberikan kesempatan kuliah gratis, biaya hidup bulanan, serta pembinaan akademik.
Pendaftaran biasanya dibuka sekitar Mei. Dalam proses seleksi, keputusan penerimaan mahasiswa AdiK ditentukan oleh pimpinan perguruan tinggi.
Persyaratan utama antara lain:
- Warga Negara Indonesia lulusan SMA/SMK sederajat
